The Undergarments

The importance of clean and well kept under garments is great for everyone. But in the case of women they have to be extra clean since during the time of the monthly periods they can be crucial from the standpoint of personal hygiene and health. The student nurse must be careful all the time that her undergarments are completely clean and well maintained. Also, no fashionable undergarments (with lace, for example) should ever be worn when the nurse is in uniform.

Brassiere if required should be of the correct size-neither too tight nor too loses. And colored brassiere or old brassiere should never be worn. A person is liable for legal action or protection only when she satisfies all the requirements legal requirements which enable her to be called a nurse. A person who is not a nurse from this point of view is not only protected by the law; she can be subject to serve legal penalty if she practices as a nurse without being a nurse.
